BOUSTEAD Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd’s Infiniti 2X petrol, which has made a name with its double-strength additive dosage for better fuel economy and engine performance, now goes the extra mile with the inclusion of the latest German-developed Advanced Additive Compound (AAC) package.
Renamed Infiniti Advanced 2X, the fully synthetic multi-functional AAC in the fuel contains two main ingredients — an unique detergent and a friction modifier.
The detergent works to keep the engine clean from carbon build-up while the friction modifier lubricates engine parts for smoother operation and lower internal friction resulting in improved fuel economy.
Treated with AAC at the maximum recommended dosage of 800 parts per million, Infiniti Advanced 2X promises users maximum engine performance. Malaysia is the first country in East Asia to use the new AAC package.
“To get the most out of your petrol, you need a clean engine. Petrol without any additives, being a hydrocarbon, will leave deposits in your engine, blocking the intake valves, clogging the injection nozzles and preventing full combustion,” BHPetrol managing director Tan Kim Thiam said at the launch of the fuel recently.
“You are burning your money when you use a petrol that is not engineered to perform efficiently.
“While the number of our stations is not the largest, the quality of our fuel is second to none.”
He said Infiniti Advanced 2X had been tested and certified by an independent petrol test centre in Germany on a Mercedes-Benz engine under the strict Coordinating European Council standards to back up the company’s claims.
“Compared to petrol without additives, Infiniti Advanced 2X petrol with AAC at the maximum recommended treat rate reduces carbon deposits on the intake valve by 94% to 3mg,” he said.
In conjunction with the launch of the Infiniti Advanced 2X, BHPetrol is organising the Infiniti Fever Frenzy contest with up to 700 prizes to be won including the grand prize of a Mercedes-Benz C200 CGI BlueEfficiency Elegance luxury sedan.
To participate, customers only need to spend a minimum of RM30 on the new fuel and answer three questions.
The contest ends on Oct 16 and other prizes to be won include 40-inch Samsung full HD LCD televisions, Samsung Blu-ray Home Theatre System, Sony PS3, Apple iPhone 3GS handphones, iPad mini computers and BHPetrol vouchers worth up to RM15,000. — HONG BOON HOW |
