How To Check and Pay Your AwAS Summons Online & Offline

In our previous article, “The 6 Things You Need to Know About AwAS – The New Speed Track Camera System”, we explored how the Automatic Awareness Safety System (AwAS) uses speed cameras and red-light monitoring to promote safer roads across Malaysia.

Now, we’re following up with a practical guide on how to check and pay your AwAS summons – both online and offline – so you can keep your driving record clean, avoid unnecessary penalties, and drive more responsibly.

Why It’s Important to Check Your Summons Regularly

With AwAS and AES (Automated Enforcement System) cameras increasingly common on highways and intersections, it’s easy to miss a violation until it’s too late. By checking your summonses regularly, you can:

– Avoid paying late penalties
– Keep your driving license and road tax in good standing
– Stay informed about your driving behavior
– Take corrective steps to become a safer driver
